Kuigi pandeemia avaldas vaimsele tervisele m\u00f5ju k\u00f5igis vanuser\u00fchmades, tundusid lapsed ja noorukid eriti haavatavad ja kannatasid pandeemia ajal kehtestatud piirangute, eriti koos kaaslastega ajaveetmise piirangute, t\u00f5ttu rohkem (1). Kuigi teadusuuringud on veel pooleli (2), hoiatavad ps\u00fchholoogid ja pedagoogid COVID-19 pikaajalise m\u00f5ju eest \u00f5pilastele, eriti nendele \u00f5pilastele, kelle vaimne tervis oli juba enne pandeemiat ohustatud (3). Seega on teismeeas \u00f5pilaste vaimse tervise kaitsmine ja edendamine oluline ka p\u00e4rast pandeemiat. SENSE on Erasmus+ haridusvaldkonna projekt, mille eesm\u00e4rgiks on anda \u00f5petajatele vahendeid, mis v\u00f5imaldavad neil toetada k\u00f5igi \u00f5ppijate edukat toimetulekut koolis ja elus, keskendudes eelk\u00f5ige neile \u00f5pilastele, kellel v\u00f5ib olla riskitegureid, millest tulenevalt v\u00f5ib vaimne tervis ja heaolu vajada tugevdamist.\n<ol>\n \t<li><a edukalt pakkuda \u00f5pilastele vaimse tervise EDENDAMISE, vaimse tervise probleemide ENNETAMISE ja ESMASE SEKKUMISE v\u00f5imalusi. \u00d5petajate asjakohased teadmised ja oskused loovad \u00f5pilastele tingimused edukaks osalemiseks kooli- ja \u00fchiskonnaelus, mis omakorda loob parema aluse nende tulevaseks t\u00e4isv\u00e4\u00e4rtuslikuks t\u00e4iskasvanu- ja t\u00f6\u00f6eluks.<\/p>\n<p>SENSE konsortsium, kuhu kuuluvad partnerid Saksamaalt, Austriast, Belgiast, Hispaaniast ja Eestist ning mida juhib K\u00f6lni \u00dclikool, t\u00e4idab oma eesm\u00e4rke j\u00e4rgmiselt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anal\u00fc\u00fcsitakse, kuidas \u00f5petajad saavad hinnata, hoida ja edendada \u00f5pilaste vaimset tervist.<\/li>\n<li>Koostatakse voldik, et t\u00f5sta vaimse are we doing the project? The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the importance of strengthening the mental health of secondary school students. While all sections of society were affected with severe mental health impacts, children and adolescents appeared particularly vulnerable and suffered at a higher rate due to pandemic conditions and the deferral of needs over a long period of time (1). While scientific studies are still ongoing (2) psychologists and educators warn about the long-term impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of students, especially those already at risk before the pandemic (3). The challenge of protecting and promoting the mental health of secondary school students will thus remain post-pandemic. SENSE wants to create in-service training offers to equip secondary school teachers with the KNOWLEDGE, RESOURCES and SKILLS needed to succeed in providing low threshold PROMOTION, PREVENTION and EARLY INTERVENTION in students\u2019 mental health. Relevant professionalisation of teachers improves pupil\u2019s conditions to participate successfully in school and social life, which in turn provides a better foundation for a fulfilling adult and working life. What are the intended outcomes of the project? SENSE develops 3 key results in English, German, Dutch, Spanish and Estonian language: SENSE Brochure An informational brochure aimed primarily at teachers, containing information on mental health in the context of secondary education in a condensed and concise manner. SENSE Toolbox A mental health toolbox for classroom use, containing materials and methods for the classroom. SENSE Course An in-service training course for secondary school teachers, both face-to-face and online.
